She needs to be taking them in from people who actually draw professionally. |D
However, there's been an increase of people asking me how I draw so well, and I'm not satisfied with just saying "Oh, I've been doing it once a day since a bit before Pre-school". They're probably expecting some tips or something that'll help them draw better (I won't say like me, because compared to someone like Miyazaki-senpai (creator of Ponyo, Spirited Away, etc.), I probably draw like a three-year-old, lol). So, I've compiled a list that will probably be growing throughout as I draw more...crap...lawl. If you don't like reading, it's always helpful to read the first sentence of each paragraph to get the general idea.

As soon as you see those infamous nice, digitally done anime pictures we see here all the time on deviantART, don't you have the urge to just throw your pencil/pen/whatever the heck you use to doodle and throw it at the person who did it? DON'T. PUT IT DOWN, MAH CHILD. *smacks it out of your hand* Jealousy don't get ya nowhere. You use it as a reference to get where you want, not as a punching bag to let your anger out because you "can't draw".
Which by the way is a bunch of bull defecate. If you can make a squiggly line, you can draw.
First and foremost, don't try to copy someone
while they're drawing. Not only is it kinda stupid, its the same thing as cheating; you won't learn anything. Plus, it'll get frustrating when the artist keeps erasing things, or on another hand the artist will get frustrated at YOU for breathing over their shoulder and basically copyin' their swagger. Lawl for slang terms. [On a separate note, it's also not good to get frustrated. Trying to draw a nice picture when you're frustrated does not make for a nice picture. IT WILL LOOK LIKE YOU WERE FRIGGEN FRUSTRATED. I mean, unless that's what you were going for.]

Especially for the beginners, it's not a good idea to just try to draw exactly what's seen in front of you; I suggest trying to find simple shapes within the drawing and putting them together. Even stick figures and joint points help for poses, although they may prove problematic at first. Practice, practice, yadda yadda yadda, y'know?

Whenever you mess up, don't erase right away; it'll end up looking all dirty and unattractive and such. Instead, continue going on drawing and then go back and fix it. Don't take so much time trying to perfect one part. Trying too hard makes it look like...you tried to hard. But then again, don't get lazy and draw the shaggy bangs over the face, or those cheesy winking faces since you can't make the eyes equal...OR putting the hands behind the back...Yeah...I know you...I've been there, too many times. u.u'

I'll put the obvious ones in one little bullet here; no tracing, no pressing down hard when using pencil (it's difficult to erase), try to stay away from copying someone else just because you really like it-- it's easier than you think to get your own style.

...I wrote a lot. I'm sorry...Hopefully, this'll help those guys who keep asking me. |D Ah! I hope I didn't confuse anyone; I didn't mean don't look at others' works, not only is it a good reference it's also good motivation because it makes you wanna do better, right? So...look at photos...watch people on dA who draw the style you like...ask questions...be prepared with something to draw on and with...and do your best.

I would also like to do plotline tips too, but I gotta figure out if people like these tips first.
